Feeling out of rhythm? Join Jen Goetchius and I for a day of nature reconnection, yoga and learning about the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. This year’s fall retreat theme is “The Wisdom of Rhythm,” and will focus on aligning yourself to the rhythms of nature. We will also discuss how to get more in tune with YOUR own natural rhythms that your body and mind crave. The modern world has moved us further away from nature, and with that comes imbalances such as digestive issues, sleep problems, high levels of stress, burnout, feeling disconnected from our bodies, and overwhelm from our fast paced culture. We will discuss the importance of creating rhythm in your life, and how it can help keep you grounded, calm and peaceful.

Schedule of the Day:

8:00am - 8:45am: Farm-to-table breakfast

9:00am - 10:00am:  "The Rhythms of Nature" Hike - guided by Shannon with nature based mediations 

10:15am - 11:00am:  Vinyasa Yoga with Shannon in the barn

11:00am - 12:00pm:  “The Science of Chanting, Rhythm and Repetition” including pranayama and mantra with Jen, and journaling lead by Shannon

12:00pm - 1:00pm:  Farm-to-table lunch

1:00pm - 2:30pm:  Free time to explore the farm and nature trails

2:30pm - 4:00pm:  “Seasonal Rhythms - Ayurvedic cleansing” Ayurveda Workshop with Shannon, including a cooking demonstration on Ayurveda’s staple food, Kitchari

4:00pm - 4:30pm:  Yoga Philosophy and storytelling with Jen, “Rhythm of Balance: Garudasana - a story of lower and higher energies”

4:30pm - 5:15pm:  Yin Yoga practice in the barn with Jen

5:15 - 6:00pm:  “Daily Rhythms and Routines - Dinacharya” Ayurveda Workshop with Shannon

6:00pm - 7:00pm:  farm-to-table dinner

7:00pm - 8:00pm:  Optional campfire/social hour

This 1 Day Fall Retreat will include:

  • Time outdoors to observe, explore, and meditate with the elements

  • Multiple yoga classes (vinyasa, yin)

  • Journaling practices to reflect on the rhythm of your own life

  • Ayurveda workshops on cooking, daily routine, mindful living and more

  • Active breath work to support anxiety, headaches and disturbed sleep

When: Saturday, Oct. 26th - The event starts at 8am for breakfast, and closes at 7pm for a campfire ceremony after dinner

Location: Bellwether Farm - 4655 State Route 60 Wakeman, Ohio 44889 (only about 45 mins from Cleveland)

Cost: $225 per guest (Early Bird pricing), $275 per guest after Sept. 1st, $300 per guest after Oct. 1st

Please prepare for all weather for the time outdoors.

Bring your yoga mat and journal.
